The Old Gold had found themselves 1-0 down very early on when Todd Cantwell put the Canaries ahead. However, Romain Saiss pulled things level with 30 minutes left on the clock, and then Raul Jimenez struck to give Nuno Espirito Santo’s side all three points in the 81st minute.
Whilst the Portuguese manager will be happy that his side managed to triumph, he will have been disappointed by some of the displays from his backline. Daniel Farke’s XI managed seven shots on target during the clash, and perhaps they will feel they should have scored more than just one.

Jonny Castro was one of those who had real trouble on Saturday. Defensively, he was a bit erratic. Whilst he did manage two clearances, three interceptions and a tackle, he was also dribbled past on two occasions and it was his mistake that allowed the opposition to go ahead. Not only that, he also gave away two fouls as well.
In terms of his duels, he often came off second best too. He won just three of the seven that he contested on the floor, whilst he failed to prevail in any of the three he took part in in the air.
This display was a microcosm of what has been an inconsistent first half of the campaign for the 25-year-old. The former Celta Vigo man has put in some fantastic displays, such as against Arsenal and West Ham – he picked up WhoScored ratings of 7.7 and 7.69 respectively – but he struggled on other occasions, such as during the 5-2 loss at Molineux against Chelsea – his rating in that one was 6.09.
This is going to be a huge second half of the term for Wolves.
With 27 points, they are well in the fight for a Europa League space and, having lost just once in their last 11, they may just have an outside shot of a Champions League spot if they can carry on that kind of form.
However, if they are to do that, they will need their players to be at the top of their game, or at the very least putting in consistently solid showings. Whilst £18m-valued Jonny – as per Transfermarkt – does not need to always be an 8/10, he must make sure he is performing at a much higher level than the one he displayed on Saturday.
Otherwise, he may end up costing his team just like he almost did against Norwich.
In other news, this teenager could be Adama Traore’s successor.
