According to Football Insider, the LMA Manager of the Year has been approached by the Seagulls regarding their managerial vacancy.
The south coast club sacked Chris Hughton after the conclusion to the Premier League season and are now on the hunt for his successor.
Wilder has led the Blades to two promotions in three years and he is now gearing up for his first year in the top flight.
Whether that will be with Brighton or United it is currently unknown, but fans of the Yorkshire club certainly think they know where he will be next year.
