da bet sport: As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has given a big thumbs up to the club’s potential move for Steven Caulker.
What’s the story?
da fezbet: Last week, Brendan Rodgers refused to rule out a move for the Queens Park Rangers man and since then speculation amongst supporters has been rife that the club could bring him to Glasgow.
The defender made just 14 appearances for QPR last season, struggling to find the form and happiness he experience earlier in his career. However, he is still just 25 and has plenty to offer a club that can get his career back on track.
His former teammate and current Celtic winger Scott Sinclair certainly wants him in Glasgow. He’s been speaking about the potential move to media and reckons it it could be great for all parties.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, Sinclair said:
Caulks would be a great signing. The manager knows him well from being at Swansea. He had an amazing season there and hopefully he can get his career back on track. This would be a great club for him to be at as well. I’m sure he looks at myself and can see I was at a crossroads before I came here. But there is no better place to be at than Celtic. If he ever spoke to me I’d tell him it’s the best place to be.
Sinclair of course had a fantastic season last term for the Hoops after struggling at Aston Villa. Brendan Rodgers has turned around his career and he’s again playing some of his best football.
Can the Hoops boss do the same for Caulker?
