Celtic fans are calling for a managerial appointment that would shock the footballing world, after Jose Mourinho criticised Brendan Rodgers’ handling of his move to Leicester.

“In my opinion, the right moment would be pre-season.”
Mourinho has perhaps delivered the most well balanced view of anyone on the Rodgers debate, showing he respects the stature of Celtic as a club but he also knows from first-hand experience that the Premier League is where greatness is truly forged.
