da 888casino: Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside has handed his full support to Fabio Capello and believes the Italian should remain as England manager.
da bwin: The 64-year-old has come under pressure following England's dismal showing at the World Cup which saw them crash out of the tournament at the second round stage after a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Germany.
Just before the World Cup began, the FA removed a clause in Capello's contract that would have allowed them to part company with the Italian now but his lucrative deal currently runs until Euro 2012.
However, Gartside, who is also a member of the 13-man FA international committee that must ratify an eventual decision on the manager, was quoted on the BBC as saying:"It's not his fault. He has done a good job.
"He needs to get on with it. I hope he stays and I think he will stay. It's not about the money. We have to be strong."
One of the favourites to replace Capello if he was axed, Roy Hodgson, appears to be out of the running as he is being lined up to replace Rafa Benitez at Liverpool.Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
