da mrbet: Manchester United look set to begin fresh negotiations with Marcus Rashford over a new deal at Old Trafford.
da fazobetai: The 21-year-old ace is only out of contract in 2020 but the club’s vice chairman, Ed Woodward, wants to put all interest from other clubs to bed by offering Rashford a contract that would be worth double of what he is currently earning and in the process commit his future to United.
Rashford appears to have gone on the radars of European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, according to the Daily Star.
United’s administration wanted to pin the England international down at the end of last season already, but due to uncertainty over his role in José Mourinho’s setup, Rashford put talks on hold.
But after being part of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad and having featured quite regularly in Mourinho’s team since the season began in August, the winger firmly believes his future should be in England.
Rashford has proven to be one of the brightest talents, not only in the Premier League but also in Europe, and is already in his fourth season of first-team football with the Red Devils.
United’s unstable season however should get the ball rolling for Woodward to get Rashford to sign a new deal as soon as possible.
The report suggests that Woodward is hoping to have Rashford secured before the end of the season, but if United go through a bad run of form again in the near future then he might consider the other offers.
Mourinho should also decide where he is going to play Rashford after rotating his attack quite a lot recently. With Anthony Martial performing well on the left-wing, either Rashford or Sanchez have been used as centre-forwards, while Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard have been put to use on the right flank.
When Romelu Lukaku returns from injury, however, the competition for a spot on the right could become quite a big talking point, as Mourinho continues to back him as the main striker.
