da apostebet: Leeds are still struggling to convert their dominance in games into clear-cut chances, and the Whites should make a January move for Aiden McGeady.
What’s the word?
Leeds grabbed another three points on Tuesday, moving within touching distance of the top of the league thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win against Reading.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are averaging 59 per cent possession in games so far this season, and signing McGeady could help unlock those deep-lying defences.
The Sunderland winger is quite frankly too good for League One, and he could have a similar impact at Elland Road to Pablo Hernandez.

The next Hernandez?
Hernandez has undoubtedly been Leeds’ best signing of the last few years, despite the fact that the winger was in his thirties when he joined.
Like Hernandez, McGeady has the flair and bravery to produce magical moments when the team is struggling to create chances, and the 32 year-old is having a lot of fun in League One.
He scored once and added two assists as the Black Cats romped past Barnsley on Tuesday, and also won the penalty that he scored from.
That takes his total this season to five goals and four assists, meaning he has more goal involvements than every Leeds player bar two – Hernandez and Kemar Roofe.
McGeady’s speed, directness, trickery and vision and would add yet another unique component to Bielsa’s attack, and give defenders another creative force to worry about when trying to defend deep.
Fans are desperate for chairman Andrea Radrizzani to splash some cash in January, and a short-term deal for McGeady could bring a new cult hero to Elland Road.
So, Leeds fans, would you back a move for McGeady? Is he good enough? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
